The devastation in Gaza is now considered one of the most severe attacks on a civilian population in modern history. Almost everyone, including families, children, the disabled, and the elderly, has been compelled to abandon their homes in search of a safe place to stay. Most people have now moved more than four or five times in the past seven months. The relentless bombardment has not only destroyed infrastructure but has also left a profound psychological impact on the residents of Gaza. 

The dire situation has been exacerbated by limitations on access to things that most people take for granted. As a result, starvation in Gaza has become a grim reality for many, intensifying an already critical humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Basic necessities such as food, clean water, electricity, and fuel are almost non-existent, making daily survival a struggle for the population. 

The situation becomes worse every day, and a coordinated, local response is becoming increasingly urgent. The resilience of Gaza’s population, coupled with the dedication of local humanitarian workers, continues to be a beacon of hope in an otherwise devastating scenario.

Despite the dangerous and unpredictable conditions, we have managed to deliver aid to those most in need. We have distributed food, water, and other essential items, opened and run community kitchens, and offered psychological support to help people cope with the trauma. Organizations like ours, which are on the ground and have existing supply chains, are in the best place to help, but we need your support.
